What are the risks of Matched Betting?

The only risk in Matched Betting is that you make a ridiculous mistake.

For example, in a football match, you back the home team and lay the away team. There are three possible outcomes that this scenario will produce:

1. Home Win – your back bet wins and your lay bet wins, giving you double profit.

2. Draw – your back bet loses but your lay bet wins, giving you the same profit as if you had placed the correct bets.

3. Away Win – your back bet loses and your lay bet loses. This is the worst case scenario  and the point at which you will be banging your head against a wall.

Prevention

To prevent this from happening:

a) Always double check your bets before placing them
b) Don’t place bets while tired
