Football Roundup

Last night saw Liverpool lose 3-1 to Seville in the final of the Europa League meaning they do not qualify for any of next seasons European competitions. But do not fear, there will still be plenty of matched betting opportunities when Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal and Man City play in the Champions League!

The Match

The game saw Liverpool take the lead via a great Daniel Sturridge goal scored with the outside of the foot. However Seville came back, and ended up winning the match 3-1. Its not all doom and gloom for Liverpool supporters however, as they have a great manager in Jurgen Klopp, and they are bound to come back a stronger team for next season. It is likely they will be challenging for a top for spot in the Premier League.

A quick look ahead…

This Saturday sees Crystal Palace take on Manchester United in a repeat of the 1990 FA Cup final. It should be a good game with Palace likely to trouble United. Both sides had a disappointing end to the season so will be looking to end it on a high.

Prediction

We predict a very close encounter at Wembley, with Crystal Palace winning in Extra time. Either that or Manchester United will win easily within 90 minutes!

Other news

In other news, Aston Villa have a new owner. Dr Tony Xia has said that the new manager will be given up to £50 million in order to get them back into the top flight. It is rumoured that Roberto di Matteo is in line to take over at Villa Park. If the Champions League winning manager is to take over, he is going to have a big job on his hands in turning around the club, and motivating the player to get back into the Premier League. Whoever does take over, we wish them the best of luck!
